Parachutes and sky diving have changed a lot in the past 15 years. Gears are more and more sophisticated and reliable. The parachute can be precisely controlled and the tandem free fall is common in every sky diving school.
In Quebec, we have excellent sky diving clubs and schools where you can learn to jump in parachute or simply live an unforgettable experience jumping in tandem with an instructor. Parachute jumping in tandem can be as high as 13,500 feet and the free fall may last up to one minute. The speed changes the perception of time as Einstein already demonstrated.
During this minute of free fall at high speed, the time may seem to have stopped!!!
