Gyroplane-Gyro-Gyrocopter

A gyro, gyrocopter or gyroplane is not a well known aircraft in Canada but is flown a lot in Europe. The gyro (gyrocopter or gyroplane) is an hybrid between an helicopter and an airplane. The lifting force is provided by a non-powered free rotating wing but its power comes from a regular propeller like an airplane. The gyro detains very interesting flight characteristics. A gyroplane can fly fast and land on a very short distance.
