Approximately 15 minutes of preparation is required to make a free-fall tandem. Your instructor will take care of everything. You just have to enjoy this incredible experience.

To gain an altitude of 11,500 feet (3,500 meters), this lasts around 15 minutes. You are solidly tied to your instructor by a harness that can support up to 5,000 pounds and by four snap hooks that can hold up to 2,500 pounds each.

The free fall speed is 200 km per hour, and contrary to rollercoaster, you do not have the bad feeling of retching. As soon as the speed is stabilized, you will feel like flying not falling.

The parachute will open smoothly and will not have a big impact. The parachute opens at 5,000 feet (1,500 meters). You will have time to enjoy a nice and quiet descent, and appreciate the landscape during 5 to 6 minutes.

The landing is not hard. With the modern parachutes, you will land smoothly contrary to the old round military parachutes. The modern parachute is rectangular and is easy to manoeuver precisely. In the case of the malfunction of the main parachute, a second parachute specially folded by certified experts will be opened by the instructor.

The price of a parachute tandem varies between $260 and $300 depending on the time of the week and the number of people in the group.
