The St-Jean-sur-Richelieu International Balloon Festival

- This festival takes place each year in August - The International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is the biggest gathering of balloons in Canada and is a major event for kids of all ages.

There are 125 hot air balloons, about twenty of which are special shapes that flies away in the sky each evening and each morning at the same time. The spectacle is majestic. In August 2006 many visitors participated in this great magical and colorful festival.

Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival

- This festival takes place each year in September - Since 1988, the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival has been one of the most popular events in Eastern Canada. On the program: 80 hot air balloons, 250 shows, 1,000 RV's and 200,000 visits during the Labour Day weekend. The best get-together for celebrating the end of the holidays!
